Josh Kleinjan is a strategic finance professional with over 15 years of experience in private equity, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), transaction support, and interim/fractional management. With a unique ability to balance in-depth financial modeling with high-level strategic advisory, he helps businesses navigate complex financial challenges and unlock value.
Josh’s expertise spans multiple industries, including healthcare, real estate, energy, manufacturing, and technology. His diverse experience allows him to quickly assess business models, identify key drivers, and develop tailored financial solutions that improve decision-making, optimize profitability, and drive operational efficiency.
He began his career in assurance with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before moving into restructuring at Alvarez & Marsal, followed by CFO advisory at Accordion, and ultimately private equity principal investing. This extensive background gives him a holistic business view around transactions and operations.
A hands-on operator, Josh has developed robust financial models that drive M&A strategy, operational planning, and liquidity management. His expertise in financial and operational reporting has helped businesses transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and investors. He excels at identifying and distilling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into decision-ready formats, enabling management teams to navigate challenges, optimize performance, and execute data-driven strategies with confidence.
With direct private equity investing experience, Josh supports acquisitive strategies, divestitures, and capital transactions, providing critical insights that help businesses scale and maximize value.
Josh holds a BBA from Temple University (2010) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Outside of work, he enjoys infrared yoga, time by the water, and backpacking adventures in the great outdoors.
